The call came out harsh and overflowing with pure, unrestrained anger. "Malik! You'll regret what you've done!"
Hiding behind a pillar and out of sight, the young Arab boy let out a soft, amused chuckle. He quietly contemplated giving his pursuer a taunting remark, but decided against it, seeing how he actually values his life a fair bit.
"Malik, I swear to Allah that when I find you, I will rip every last one of your limbs from your body and leave you to drown in a pool of your own blood!"

Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad is by no means a sentimental man. And honestly, who could blame him? When your job involves ending the life of others, you tend to channel your emotions and learn to never let them show. Then again; keeping his emotions hidden from the eyes of others never really was a problem for Altaïr in the first place, seeing as he was always extremely competent at keeping them to himself.
